About WFEL

The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning Inc. (WFEL) was established in the spring of 2013 by a group of concerned and passionate parents. WFEL is  incorporated and is officially a 501C3 not-for-profit organization.

The mission of The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning, a community based not for profit organization, is to promote, enhance, provide and enrich educational, teaching and learning opportunities within the Warwick Valley Central School District.

The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (Foundation) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes supplemental to the annual school budget.

These purposes include enhancement of quality and breadth of education in the Warwick Valley Central School District by:

  1. Obtaining funding from a variety of sources to provide students, faculty and staff with opportunities to develop and maintain innovative programs that will enrich the learning experiences of all Warwick students K-12.
  2. Promote corporate and community awareness of educational challenges and solutions.
  3. Foster alumni and local relations and establish job shadowing and internship opportunities/connections.
  4. Provide a vehicle for individuals to share resources and gifts with the school district.
